Held within my paintings is a journey, an experience, and a conversation of self-discovery.

In each piece, in each  layer, in each brushstroke and movement, there are anxieties and hopes, perfections and resignations, satisfactions and despair.

For me, creating a piece of art is like traveling to heaven and to hell, while questioning the existence of both. And the hope and expectation is that the finished painting isn't just seen, but felt.

But perhaps I prefer the more simple, succinct description that a friend once gave my work.

"Interesting and moody, while still being beautiful".
